Professional Assessment Services
SKH views assessment as the skillful blending of psychometric data, interview observations and our experience with a wide range of managers and leaders. We use a variety of assessment tools in our work. These include the Hogan Assessment System, the Hogan 360 Survey, the LEA leadership assessment tools, the 16PF Personality Questionnaire as well as a host of specialized tools for specific populations and needs. With two doctoral level psychologists, and an experienced executive level human resources professional, we believe we have the skills and experience to deliver accurate and meaningful interpretation of assessment results.
Our assessment services are most commonly used in three situations. (1) Candidate assessment – situations where you want an objective third party evaluation of a prospective new hire. We provide this service to numerous companies in the manufacturing, insurance, banking, retail and public safety fields. Assessment results are used to look at both the fit with the required competencies for the role as well as cultural fit. (2) Professional Development and Coaching – you have internal people who need support identifying strengths to build on and/or barriers to higher performance. Using our assessment tools and interviewing skills we help people build development plans that get to core issues and build on strengths. (3) Career Counseling – assessment can be an important part of helping people figure out the kind of work they will find most satisfying and meaningful. People get into careers for a variety of reasons (chance, abilities, connections), but sometimes find this has resulted in a poor fit. We help people base career direction on solid awareness of their personality tendencies, drivers and values.
Please contact Phil Smith if you have any questions about how our assessment services can support your hiring and/or professional development efforts.
